The Round-table Talk on Teaching and Learning Program has been introduced along with featured events, inspiring topics or phenomena of the times in higher education, aiming at exchanging transformational concepts, innovative practices and pioneering. Through open conversations across educators, the dynamic program reflects the transformational direction of teaching and learning at higher education as well as the evolution of social environment.活动详情
1. The theme and outline
The theme of the session is " The Continuing Legacy of the COVID Pandemic on Student Learning ".
Under the theme, this talk will be primarily featured as the following: while normal life in universities has resumed after the COVID Pandemic, there is evidence of the longer-term challenges still faced by many students. This includes changed levels of student engagement and motivation; expectations about online and blending learning; readiness for the workplace and levels of depression.
This session will allow attendees to share their experiences of teaching in the Post-Pandemic era, and look at some research and initiatives to address the challenges faced by today's students.
2. Organization
It takes the form of seminar with 10-15 audiences.
3. Eligibility for Application
1) Senior experience in teaching innovation and evaluation
2) Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
3) English proficiency required
4. Time and venue
Time: 10:00 AM-11:00 AM, April 22（with luncheon）
Venue：Room 505, Chen Ruiqiu Bldg, Minhang Campus, SJTU
